Expanding their photo sharing tools for photographers of all levels, SlickPic has recently launched MobiAlbums, which allows sharing of any album as a web app for mobile devices running iOS or Android.
“While SlickPic albums were always available to be viewed with native web browsers, the MobiAlbum experience is specifically tailored for the best possible on-phone viewing experience. Give your people the ability to add the MobiAlbum directly to their home screen for ‘one-tap’ access to the images,” SlickPic noted in their announcement.
MobiAlbums is currently available for SlickPic users as part of an introductory phase, which runs until September 30th. By then, the number of MobiAlbums available to an individual user will be based on their specific subscription plan. Each plan will receive a certain number of MobiAlbums, and extras will be available for an additional fee.
Those who don’t have a SlickPic account yet can sign up for a FREE 14-day trial.
What makes MobiAlbums different and worth trying out? SlickPic highlights the following features:

- Showcase their images as a digital business card, perfect for a highly personalized networking experience
- Deliver a mobile-ready gallery to clients after a shoot. This can be a bonus freebie for buying other items such as an album OR an add-on to a package. Perfect for Wedding highlights, Pet photo albums, Portrait, Fashion and Boudoir galleries, and more
- Keep their “best of the best” images right on their phone to show prospective clients in a natural, conversational way — perfect for Models and Content Creators

For the enthusiasts and hobbyists
Similarly, there are also several cool uses for MobiAlbums for enthusiasts and hobbyists. Sharing their photos through the app allows them to highlight their work by:
- Showcasing their “Portfolio on the Go” – when talking to people, keep your favorite images right on your home screen. You don’t have time to find your website or hunt around in your phone’s Camera Roll to find the images you want to show – with MobiAlbums they are instantly accessible!
- Sharing personal event galleries with friends and family (e.g. birthday parties, holidays, family reunions, etc.)
- Sending a MobiAlbum to the grandparents with images of their newest grandchild, like a “photoframe” on the phone to show their friends
- Creating a real-time travel photo diary that updates every time you upload a photo
- Sharing your photos out to close friends and followers similar to Instagram (but without all the annoying distractions); they’ll have an exceptional viewing experience every time you update the MobiAlbum
- Collecting photos before a trip of exactly where to visit so there’s a visual reference at your fingertips
- Collecting and sharing images from a specific photo walk or workshop
Even photo clubs can send a MobiAlbum with monthly, quarterly, or annual contest-winning images, or use Group Upload albums to enhance the Club’s post-event experience and attract new members.
